Making Katan silk is a special process. The yarn is prepared by twisting various silk filaments that makes it sturdy, durable and lustrous. After which, we work on creating the Paithani weaves on the skirt area of the saree. Finally, the buttis are added in the body of the saree. The blouse is a contrast which adds further surprise. This saree is a labour of love for the true connoisseur of art.
